Raffael Flores Contreras came to New York City from Peru in 2000 to study at FIT. He has immersed himself in his community by photographing the underground night life of the city for the past two decades. He has a background in Industrial Design and has been working in the denim industry for six years. Contreras is an avid raw denim collector and lover of all things indigo and has recently turned his camera's eye towards capturing the beauty of well worn jeans.
Emily McIntosh studied Fashion Illustration at the School of Visual Arts. She has been with the Denim Therapy team for two years and has developed an eye for upcoming trends. She enjoys covering the denim industry on the Denim Therapy blog, but her true passion is exploring new design techniques through hands on experimentation.
